Daily Sketch- 06.01.2011

Okay, so June is here. Time to hit you all with a DS. A few months back I did an illustration of Ziva David from the show NCIS and promised there would be more. I am nothing if not truthful. Slow at times, but truthful. So here is the second NCIS pic.

This time out Pauley Perrette as forensic specialist Abigail “Abby” Sciuto. I think I hit her likeness pretty well on the smaller figures, but the portrait– hmm– not so much.

Oh well- here is some art.

There will be another NCIS coming as I promised my brother I would do one of these of Sasha Alexander’s character Special Agent Catlin “Kate” Todd. When will that appear. Don’t know so be on the look out.

And thanks to all who voted on the “Noir-esque quote” poll. I have the winners. Yup, there was a tie, so I guess I’ll do both and see which comes out best.

The winning quotes are:

“She was like a ray of sunshine after a long dark night. Brilliant. Blinding. And just a little unwanted.” 30.56% (11 votes)

and

“Her prefume hung in the air- reminding me of every sin I ever committed.” 30.56% (11 votes)

You might not hear from me for a couple of days, as I am heading out to Charlotte NC for Heroes Con this weekend and I have a few things to do before leaving this Friday. But when I come back I’ll have some stuff to show ya.

Later,

the Kidd
