Daily Sketch- 06.28.2011

Yup. This is a might bit late, but better than ever. My buddy, Brian, request a Mole man sketch card during last month’s Free Sketch Card Day. Unfortunately, or maybe I should say fortunately, things got pretty busy at work at the end of last month and I just didn’t get time to do up his sketch card.

Well, here it is now. A Mole man, from the classic 1951 film Superman versus the Mole Men, starring George Reeves as Superman and Phyllis Coates as Lois Lane. It is the first full length theatrical feature film based on the character Superman. It was shot in 12 days on a studio back lot and runs fifty-eight minutes long (yes, that was a full length feature) and served as a trial run for the syndicated TV series the Adventures of Superman.

Now here is some art.
