Daily Sketch: 07.25.2011

So Friday night’s sketching up at the Carmike Cinemas for the opening of Captain America went really well. Garry, Brian and I had a lot of fun, talked to the fans and movie goers, did some sketching and gave away some Sketch Cards. We didn’t come near to passing out all of the cards we had made up so we will be keeping them around for the future.

Yup, the future. The folks up at the Carmike loved the fact that we came out and did this. They really seemed to think the movie goers got a good kick out if it and we had a good time doing it, that they are hoping that we might come up and do it again some time.

Garry, Brian and I are pretty much game for the idea, but it would have to be for the right movie opening and for the rest of this year I pretty much see nothing until maybe December with either Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows or the Adventures of Tintin. If neither of those, then I guess or next sketching will be in May next year for the Avengers. either way, I think we will be doing it again.

Here are a couple more cards I did for the event.

See ya soon, raccoons

Yeah man, had a good time…I’d be up for an encore with Sherlock Holmes in Dec.
