Daily Sketch: 11.16.2011

Happy Wednesday.

Why? Cause I am once again gracing your statuses, inboxes and view screens with another Daily Sketch. I know it’s been like two weeks since the last DS, but it has been a couple of busy weeks.

Anyho’, how has everyone been doing? I hope well, if not I hope things look up. Maybe today’s DS will cheer you up a bit. Today’s sketches come from a set I am starting for an event that might be happening in December.

If you all will recall, a few months back (in July to be precise) myself and a couple of buddies did a Free Sketch Event for the opening of Captain America: the First Avenger at a local cinema. Well, we had a good time and thought it would be fun to do it again.

The only question was for what movie? There was nothing really hitting theaters after Cap, until December. We thought, maybe the Muppets or maybe Tintin, but let’s face facts. We are comic book guys and the next closest comic like movie hitting the silver screen is Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows.

Now this Free Sketch Card thing isn’t set in stone yet, so I’ll keep you all informed. As such, I am planing it as a GO and started sketching up some more cards. Here are couple of the first, they are a bit more real-looking, but some cartoony stuff is coming too.

Here is some art.

"Damn it, Holmes!"

Enjoy,

the Kidd
