Daily Sketch: 07.27.2012

Hi folks,

It’s the Kidd with a small update on what’s new at the Kidd’s Corral. In a word, not a heck of a lot. Still plugging away on the new batch of sketch cards for Cryptozoic Entertainment (can’t mention the set’s name yet, but it has been fun drawing some of these characters). Looking forward to showing the DC New 52 cards I did, which I believe I can show off next month.

Myself and my buddy, Garry, went up to one of the local theaters here the night of the midnights shows of the Dark Knight Rises and did our sketch card thing again. Like we did for Captain America, Sherlock Holmes and the Avengers. This was by far the craziest of those events and a lot of fun.

What? Do I have pictures? Well. of course not. That would have meant some for thought, which we didn’t for-think to do. But I did snap a shot of one of the cards I did and I and hoping to get a scan of a Joker card I did for a fella named Michael Scott. Mike is a great guy and it was a ton of fun meeting him. He is a film student at SCAD and has done some pretty fun movies. Check out his site if you’d like: ThatPartWhere.com

Enough of that- here is the pic of the one card I thought to get. Sorry it is a crappy photo using my phone.
